Case Studies

COMM 332: This advanced course seeks to develop critical thinking skills through the examination of audience-centered case studies. Students examine how professionals in public relations and integrated marketing communication develop objectives that translate into communication campaigns, illustrating theoretical applications in real-life situations. The development of analytical skills, ethical guidelines, and issues of diversity in communications practice are emphasized. This course also carries the university’s high-impact practice designation for collaborative learning.

PSA Campaign

The Public Service Announcement Campaign was a two-part project.

First, is a paper that analyzes a historical public service campaign.

 

Second, we created a proposal that reworks the campaign for today’s historical moment.
